SITE PHOTOS

These photos are provided to help you see what might be some of the best sites in the West. They are not meant to be a site guide, just tantalizers. Contact Cascade Paragliding Club, and other local clubs for guides to launch and landing areas. The CPC Site Guide is available from Reed Gleason (503.283.1366) and it will help you make sense of where to go in this area. Without it you run the risk of messing up the work of many local pilots. Mountain sites such as Bonney Butte, Coffin Mountain, King Mountain, Saddle Mountain and even Prairie Mountain are more dangerous than other sites and the landing zones are at times forbidding and dangerous. Fly with an experienced pilot at these places using all the common sense you possess. But you are encouraged to explore using radios to connect between launch and landing areas and other safety measures.
